Hotels Don't miss the opportunity to visit one of my favorite hotels/spas at the Sycamore Mineral Springs. This lovely resort is usually busy but with a call ahead you can enjoy a very fine night.
Golf The Avila Beach Golf Resort, nestled in the surrounding hills and overlooking the bay, includes a par 71, 6500-yard championship course. The front nine is situated within oak-lined valleys. The back nine transverses a tidal estuary. Golfers of all abilities will enjoy the challenge of this scenic course.

Dining For such a small community Avila Beach offers outstanding restaurants. From the Olde Port Inn at the end of the Pier to the Old Custom House on the strand you won't be disappointed. Don't forget the Gardens at Avila, Sycamore Mineral Springs.
